MONTESSORI PROGRAM FROM HOME

This fully MACTE-accredited program gives you a true hybrid experience, blending the flexibility of learning from home with face-to-face real-time instruction with a Master teacher.

Three components to this interactive program:

1) 7 Hours of Live virtual Sessions every week:  Join from the comfort of your home as you take part in this dynamic training.

It is fully interactive, live learning with a passionate Master Teacher who guides you through every breakthrough, answers your questions, shares his/her experience and helps you to achieve your goal.

Your schedule, your choice

Choose the live virtual option that fits your weekly routine best:

• Option A: Tuesday and Wednesday evenings (see the academic calendar)

• Option B: Friday evening and Saturday morning (see the academic calendar)

2)  80 Hours of In-Person Residency:  With your classmates, complete five immersive and transformative weekends spread across the 10-month program, so you can master the numerous hands-on activities (see the academic calendar).

You should not have to travel across the country for world-class training. Complete your 80-hour practical residency at one of our five convenient locations:

• Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto, Mississauga or Winnipeg

3)  Internship: Knowledge is not enough. You need experience. Your supervised Internship places you inside a local Montessori classroom with direct contact with small children during 200 hours (you design your own timetable according to your availability).

• Every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 6:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. or Friday evenings from 6:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and Saturday mornings from 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. via Teams technology (from home), with an in-person Montessori Instructo.r.

• Featuring lectures, videos and topics of reflection on the Montessori pedagogy

• Books and Albums  (Reference Books): All 4 Montessori books and the 8 Albums (Practical Life, Grace and Courtesy, Sensorial (psychomotricity), Language, Mathematics, Sciences and Culture, Music and Movement, Creative Arts) are available digitally free of charge
• Work-to-do in your exceptional 8 Montessori Albums
• Opportunities to share impression of readings

 

• Live 80 hours of hands-on experience during Residency, which involves gathering Teacher candidates on Saturday and Sunday five times throughout the academic year for manipulation of the Montessori materials and performance evaluations

 

• Teaching practice / Internship of 400 hours, which includes a minimum of 200 hours in a designated Montessori environment working directly with children (2½ to 6 years old) under the supervision of a Montessori teacher.

 

• Upon successful completion of the coursework, Internship and final assessment, the MACTE accredited Montessori Early Childhood Diploma will be awarded.

Program Fees

• Registration fee  of $200.00 CAD 

Following your registration application, a confirmation email will be sent including a link to upload securely three required documents:

• A résumé
• Photocopies of your diplomas, credentials
• A Selfie (a picture of yourself)

 

• Tuition fees:  $6,300.00 divided into 10 equal monthly installments of $630.00 CAD  each, payable from September to June

A federal receipt for personal tax deduction(T2202) is issued
