Our mission this summer 2010 is to offer the Assistant Teacher
Workshop, providing an overview of the Montessori approach of
Education and the practical ways it can be well implemented in the Montessori environment.
The
goal of the Montessori Assistant Workshop is to provide the
candidate with a good understanding of The Secret of
Childhood, to give them insights into the nature of
child development, to model the use of developmentally chosen
materials, and to demonstrate how respect for the child's
"inner teacher" serves as the integrating principle for effective
Montessori early childhood education.
"The teacher's mission has for its aim something constant and exact, bearing in mind the words, "He/she must grow while I diminish"
Maria Montessori
